As an All-American soccer player and scholar athlete, Jay attended the University of Connecticut at Storrs where he graduated from their Honor’s Program as a Golden Key National Scholar.

Jay joined longtime friend Herman Gibson as a mortgage originator at Hamilton Mortgage Company in Ridgefield. Under his guidance, Jay enjoyed immediate success and became one of the nation’s top young originators as honored by Mortgage Originator Magazine. A few years later, Jay followed Herman and together they operate Pegasus Investment Group in Watertown where they continue to provide creative financing and “mortgage solutions that work.” Jay has been featured and honored on numerous occassions in Mortgage Originator Magazine and Broker Magazine for his consistent high level of achievement, production, and service in the mortgage industry.

Jay is also very active in the community as a member of Main Street Waterbury’s Economic Restructuring Committee and as a member of Waterbury’s Hillside Historic District.
